Antiques and Art Markets

Head of Department: Riccardo Sorani
Market analyst and art expert, he specialises in antiques with a particular focus in East Asian art. He has worked in London for Sotheby’s auction house as specialist of Chinese art. He has acquired substantial experience working as consultant for key Italian and international private banks and investment companies, where he was involved in the digitalisation of information related to the artworks, and in the art market analysis.

He is an Expert endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce in Milan, Italy. He regularly lectures on evaluation and art investment at the Business School of Sole 24 Ore, at various universities around Italy, and at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. He is been publishing articles on the antique art market. He has recently carried out a research project on the creation of an index for measuring the rate of investment return of 20th century glass artworks, Chinese porcelain, and Italian silver. He is the co-author of the book “1000 Tiles”, published in different countries, including Great Britain and the USA.


Marco Cavenago
Art Historian with a degree from Milan’s Università degli Studi. His experience at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna, an important museum institution in Milan, gave him the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. At the moment he is involved in research, collection documentation, and promotion and diffusion of cultural awareness. He is the author of various online and paper publications on art historical themes regarding 19th century Lombardy Art.

Claudio Passera
He has acquired a degree in Italian Philology at the Universita Cattolica, Milan, where he now teaches History of Mediaeval and Renaissance Theatre. He is currently researching for future publications Milan’s Renaissance art, the distribution of theatrical texts in the 15th century, and the figurative culture prevailing under the Sforza rule in the Lombardy region. He regularly writes reviews of scientific publications on the journal “Studi Cattolici”, printed by Edizioni Ares.


Head of department: Fabio Massimo Loberto
Developer of HTML, CSS, Flash, he is familiar with PHP and SQL, and with video editing. He has studied database programming and designing at EMIT, and graphics and photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design. He has worked for W.E.B, Grapes Communication Group, BMG Ricordi, Gruppo Chantelle, Università degli Studi di Parma, Lince Spa, Voltimum, Banca Toscana (video editing), MBA, and Cerved Group.

Marketing and Communication

Head of department: Eugenio Venditti
He has acquired an MBA in Business Management, with an emphasis in Marketing. Experience working marketing, sales, and communication departments at various multinational corporations. He has headed Marketing, Media, Sales and Communication departments for Bolton Group, Sara Lee and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer.


Head of department: Oreste d’Ambrosio
He has studied Economics at the University of Parma. He was subsequently appointed Project Manager of Fuoricorso.it for Grapes Communication Group, Milan. In 2002 he founded Studio 42, a web media agency that has often collaborated with Sole 24ORE, Sinterim Spa, Università degli Studi di Parma, Lince Spa, Società Italiana di Marketing, and MBA.

Public Relations

Head of Department: Gianluca Longhi
After obtaining a degree in Engineering Management at Milan’s Politecnico, he started his career in 1998 working for Morgan Stanley in London, and for McKinsey in Milan. He is Senior Vice President of Unicredit, and heads their Management Consultancy department.
